We’re honored to have Prem’s and Heather’s trust in running their center while they’ re away and keeping the Ashtanga tradition rocking high. Damien’s partner Andrea, an experienced Ashtanga practitioner herself, will assist in the classes as well to ensure that, with both of us teaching everyone receives full attention.
Anthony ‘Prem’ Carlisi is one of the first American to practice with Guruji in the late 70’s; Together with his partner Heather, they created this beautiful yoga school in Ubud, right next to the monkey forest. Check out more info about their vision at www.ashtangaworld.com
You are all welcome to join us, even without prior Ashtanga experience. We’ll meet you where you are and guide you every step of the way.
You can choose to allow the Bali enchantment enrich your experience of yoga or, to let the yoga magic enhance your experience of Bali.

Getting there and away
From Europe check:
Turkish Airlines
We booked on AirAsia
From USA:
Cathay Pacific
Singapore airlines
Getting to and from the airport:
Most hotels have airport pick up, but if you need to schedule it, you can do it also through Nora. It costs about $20.00 from the airport to Ubud and it's about a 45-minute ride.
BALI Visa
Here is how the visa works. You get 30 days on arrival, at the airport in Denpasar. It costs about $25.00 US. If you are planning to stay longer than 1 month, please know the airport will charge a "per day" fee if you exceed the 30 days without an extension. You can extend your visa one month in Bali, for about $70.00 US.
You can also get a two-month "social visa" prior to your trip through an Indonesian embassy, but you need to have an Indonesian person sponsor you for this.
